The exhibits nose of crisp citrus aroma with a hint of buttered toast. Dry on palate with a refreshing acidity. It has an exceptionally full body with a silky texture. However, it is a bit too simple in flavor. Good quality wine.
Food pairing: beef tartare, pan seared scallop. The full bodied wine is capable of matching the weight and texture of the tartare.

Hey, there's a reason I own 105 btls of Chablis and I'm sipping an '09 Fevre Preusse tonight as I write last nights notes. I love Chablis and especially what you can get with the basic AOC Chablis. This was another overachiever. Buy it drink it, don't ever analyze it. One of wines great simple pleasures at a very easy sub $20 tariff.

A French Night at La Belle Vie with a lot of Burgs and Some Others (La Belle Vie, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank 1 glass over 45 minutes. This wine had a pretty amazing evolution in glass. I think just about anyone drinking this blind would absolutely think this is 1er cru without hesitation. Maybe on initially pouring it was more one dimensional, but after about 15 minutes this really developed a distinctive earthy quality along with that classic oyster shell and sea air minerality that when couple with the tangerine and citrus notes really was captivating. The palate was very reflective of the nose with citrus, tangerine, and rather lofty saline note that left you wanting more. The pairing with Smoked Scottish Sea Trout with Blood Orange, Chive and Trout Roe was spot on delicious.

A very impressive offering at its price point, this light yellow Chardonnay flaunts a nose of lemon zest, minerals and Asian spices. The flavors mirror the nose in a freshly acidic, light-bodied frame. The alcohol (12.5%) is nicely integrated and the middle palate is solid. Closing crisp and with medium length, this Chablis represents excellent value. Drink now-2017.

Nice Chardonnay fruit aroma soft mineral acid mid taste and finish. No sign of sweetness but not heavily acid. Soft tongue feel. The acid is very slight lemon. There is a balance to this wine that reflect's Christian Moreau's history with Chardonnay. There are no off aroma's. Light yellow color.

This pale yellow "entry level" Chablis is quite impressive. With a nose of lemon verbena, chalk, flint and Asian spices, it follows with similar flavors in a light-bodied frame. Juicy and with seamless alcohol (listed as 12.5%), it remains harmonious throughout the middle. Concluding with medium length and crisp acidity, it is a delight to drink. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2017.

The wine looks Light gold colored, light body with Silky texture and short finish. It smells like Lime, and Pear. Tastes crisp, clean with some lemon. Good white for the hot summer days that is also priced right for that Region!! My 3rd bottle in a month. Shared with other friends who love white Burgundy and they were impressed as well. My next taste will be 2012 interesting to find out he it will fair vs. this one..

Nothing wrong here but just doesn't click with me. Good value but doesn't hold my interest. 2nd bottle of this. Perhaps the 1er cru will make more of an impression...though at 40% more in cost, not sure the QPR will match. We'll see...

Thought this was very good for what it is, lemon, slate, mineral on the nose, nicely acidic, crisp, medium-bodied and well balanced on the palate. Good value, drinking well now.

One of the best Chablis we have had around $20. Nice citrus up front and vibrant acidity make this racy. The finish is a nice mix of minerality with some honey, almost like licking a rock that was dipped in just a bit of honey. There was a bit of bubbles upon opening that suggested to me a bit of secondary fermentation in the bottle, but that went away with some air. Overall, really nice and I will definitely stock up on this. I think this probably has enough acidity to last for 2-4 years.

Jumps out of the glass, on the nose: honeysuckle, pear and green apple. On the palate minerality, medium length, lemon zest and crisp acidity. Good legs and a well balanced wine.

Reductive vegetal character on the nose with stingy nettle and lemon. Dry and fullbodied on the palate with approachable structure and ripe peachy fruit. Big MLF character and some vegetality. Not that appealing a Chablis. Fatty dairy product. Easy.

straw, shiny colour - nice. nose: some hay, grass, stones with predominant flint; later some lemon aromas or even apples with lime. taste: fresh and crisp - "green", pinchy, skinny finish with some mineral notes. Later some delicate sweet aromas appear on the palette - resembling of a birch sap. Medium acidity. All that we like in the basic Chablis - freshness, some grass and mineral notes, and very good balance.
