We had this over a couple of nights. Lovely floral nose, honeysuckle and various citrus notes. Good with our grilled swordfish and even better with grilled, herbal chicken. Better on night 2, suggesting aging will improve this wine.
It is a great wine (and Steve Hansel is a good guy) but I didn’t yet get the 93+ points Parker. Maybe with some more time.
Hold wine for development.

Great QPR. Still has a long life ahead. I have a slight preference for the Cuvee Alyce as I found it has a bit less oak, which is my preference for this style, but all of Walter Hansel's Chardonnay's in this line up are outstanding.

Medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, pears & citrus notes of lemons/limes with overtones of smoky, flinty & some floral notes of honeysuckle, minerals, stony, some slight butterscotch notes, spices & a hint of vanilla/toasty oak in the background. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth texture, ripe flavors of apples, pears & lemons/limes with butterscotch, stony, minerals & a hint of toasty oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the fruit & structure to continue with its development for a few more additional years if cellared properly.

This is a knockout chardonnay. Beautiful nose with floral and fruit notes, seamless, great mothfeel and viscosity, nice acidity, clean, yet subtley powerful.
