Classic nose of stones, yeasts and sea shells. Fleshy in the mouth with grapefruit, lime, green-ish pears, more of the stony minerality and slightly bitter on the back end. Getting better with air and around 12°C, lost a bit of energy, but with presence.(from 'Le Clos' Dubai airport-£20 C-19 quarantine)

Solid Chablis. Drink now, though, if you like your Chablis crisp. This year seems to be starting to lose its edge. Liked it much better a year or two ago.

A singleton. Opulent pectic fruit with an assertive flint/chalky mineral element and a lemon citrus kick to keep the whole in balance. Excellent now but, in my view, for drinking over the next year or two while grip maintained.

Distinctive but pleasing pear note and then classic Chablissien iodine and crushed stone. Crisp with vibrant acidity, pear and citrus flavors, finishes with a slight phenolic quality. Impressive density perhaps due to the vintage's low yields. Drink now through 2025.

Colour: pale straw Nose: green apple, lemon, lemon peel, maybe developing a hint of waxy, honeyed character such as baked honeyed apple? Lithe, chalky. Palate: lithe, fresh, with green apple, lemon, lemon peel. Lemon oil. Some chalky , stoney character, but also with some broadness and richness. Developing nicely, I wonder if this will round out a bit with age. Good, lithe, fresh, citrus and green apple acidity. Some crunchiness. Moderately complex. Medium bodied, 12,5%. Seal: diam cork. Notes made from a half bottle (375mL).

Great bottle of white wine! Excellent balance between citrus fruit with a hint of vanilla and lemon. Nice tart finish. I really like this wine. The producer is one of my favorite wineries.

2018 Visit to Domaine William Fèvre with Alain Marcuello (Chablis): Oak barrels 10%. A richer, sweeter nose of mandarin and grapefruit citrus, pear and nectarine. A richer, ripe-seeming palate. A little citric but with more orchard fruit. Good body, concentration and power for this level. Euros 16.

Another excellent effort from one of my favourite producers from Chablis. Fresh, a very attractive balance of taut fruit and balanced acidity. This vintage may have its issues regarding quantity of the harvest but the quality is undoubtedly there

Cool citrus fruit, dill, and crushed stone on the nose. Boasting serious concentration and density for a village Chablis, with nice cut and a sleek, lightweight texture. A nice apéritif today but this should develop positively for a few years.

Good mineral saltyness on nose and palate. Masculine style without any notes from oak fermentation. A fine example of a Chablis.

Vibrant crisp and dry standard, should have left it 1 or 2 years more to loose some sharpness

Very tasty village Chablis; consistent over the last couple vintages as very good amongst the competition and very well priced.

Citrus, stone fruits and white flowers aromas. Lack of acidity. Not a vibrant Chablis. After a night in the fridge it was better.
