Pale salmon color. Drank a couple glasses over 1.5 hours. First boat Champagne of the season. Earthy ocean notes up front, cherry, roasted almond, nougat, smokey yeast on the nose. Strawberry cream palate, with almond, nougat, spiced cherry, and smoky minerality on full bodied frame.

Sushi and Champagne at Billy's (Billy Sushi, Mpls, MN): Ultra pale salmon color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. Strawberry, raspberry, red currants, yeasty, strawberry panna cotta, potpourri of red flowers, very elegant, though this has deceptive power with a little of that iron fist in a velvet glove quality. Love it. 92+ to 93pts.

Assertive, full flavored, bright and fresh. I liked this and would look for it again. Richer strawberry profile, really liked this against some of the crudo and ceviche we had at the beginning of the meal.

Luis Does Tilia (Tilia, Mpls): Pale salmon color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. This was quite nice; a delicate wine offering a suave mix of light red berries, yeast, and strawberry pastries; creamy texture, cherry and a light to moderately toasted finish. Nice balance and a finessed style I gravitate toward.

Nice if simple Champagne. Yeasty, bready; rounder and more mature than previous bottle. Still plenty of red fruits - less of citrus notes than before. Score adjusts for price - excellent QPR.

Drank this at a wine mate's place for dinner. Theme of the evening: wines that go well with Peranakan food.
Seductive pink in colour, with notes of cherries, red berries, and a touch of sweetness. Beautiful continuous effervescence with a tingling sensation in the palate.
Great as a pre-meal aperitif, can be drunk on its own, or paired with finger food.

Drank over Christmas and had the last a couple of weeks ago. Great QPR, lovely stuff. next batch of 6 will likely be Gosset I think, but will keep an eye out for more of these.

Drank New Year's Eve as cocktail. Really nice, and amazing deal at ~$30. Not sure I can tell the difference between this and expensive champagne, so think I'll drink more of this.

4th Saturday Group: Uptown Brown Bag (M&R): L18040C, opened as a nonblind starter to kick off the tasting. Deep pink color. Loads of red berries on the nose and palate, with yeasty undertones. Good weight across the palate. Balanced. Excellent.

Others liked this way more than I did, but it definitely had some various changes of color throughout the bottle. It started out being mineral driven and gained weight and became fruit dominant with heft and even a very slight bit of bitterness from the wine component on the back end. It was definitely RICH and the bubbles were fantastic! Drinking fine

Drank this at East Treasure last night with a group of wine lovers. Theme of the night: Wines that start with 19.
Seductive pink in colour, with a beautiful glow and equally attractive effervescence. Floral fragrance with good balance of acidity, freshness, body, weight and character on the palate. Some strawberries and cherries infused with the cranberries and raspberries.
One should feel a tingling sensation of happiness while sipping this wine.

Not sure I've seen Palmer's rosé before. Pale pink. Rather mild saline-lemon nose. More substance to the palate, it's razor-sharp at first, but quickly becomes rather syrupy. Some red notes - hibiscus comes to mind - and plenty of sweet padding in the middle. Ultimately it's charming, if a little unfocused - I guess NV rosé has every right to be that way. Initially I was unsure, but with a bit of air, it resembles the pinot-heavy pink champagnes I prefer (though I don't know the cépages). [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Valhalla's Goat, Glasgow, £37].

Champagne Palmer: Deep copper color. Nose shows raspberries, cherries, along with herbal tea, rose petals, musky cologne and chalk dust. Crisp acidity, tons of tiny bubbles, this has a laser-like focus, with lots of lemon, raspberries and tart strawberries. Complex notes of spiced tea, musk, sea salt, sliced cucumber, minerals and chalk dust. Aged two to three years on the lees with an 8g/l dosage, this is an even mix of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with 10-15% Pinot Meunier, includes 35% reserve wines.

Oenocosmos Wine Fair (Intercontinental Hotel): Soft on the nose, beautiful fresh red fruit, low to med intensity. The palate is different though, high intensity, loads of bubbles (almost calling it aggressive), full red fruit, med body and finish

Rose's on the Deck (For a Time): A Summer Party -2nd Edition (Matt and Brenda's, Minneapolis, MN): Pale salmon color. Drank a glass over 15 minutes. This was quite nice; offering a decidedly toasty nose with toasted almonds, strawberry, river rock and a touch of smokiness. On the elegant side, well balanced and no edges. Excellent. 91+ to 92pts.

Great QPR. Red fruits and citrus. Some yeasty notes, esp. once it warms up a little bit. Good acidity and minerality.
