PnP. ABV 13%. Expressive nose from get-go. Good mixture of flowers, spices, and dark soils with floral notes still more pronounced. Beautiful nose. Substantial mouthfeel on the palate, more like a 1er Cru than a village. Dark and ripe fruits with just enough acidity to keep it interesting. Good spices and woods lingering at the back. Paired this with Gouda, Camembert, and Brillat Savarin with Truffles, sinful but so delicious.

Light brick, slightly cloudy. Took 20 min in the glass for the nose to open to a typical sweet black cherry, heavy on skins with a nice Gevrey minerality - lovely. Entry is delightful sweet cherry with a lot of complexity from the start. Linear profile to an elegant just slightly bitter finish. Incredibly integrated with no harsh edges. Long and smooth. The finish is not particularly acidic or tannic just lovely complexity fitting for it's age. It is not a super elegant wine, but has a masculine animalistic character with the edges rounded off. A bit like an older metrosexual man. :) We just were in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin today for lunch so perhaps I am overly romanticizing it. No matter, lovely bottle.
Light red with faint browning at the edge. Lovely wafting red fruit nose. Light weight, fully resolved, silky texture with light soil base. Crisp red berries, herbs, and a whiff of orange peel. Altogether winning village wine in full bloom. Bravo Jean-Marie Fourrier for crafting this textbook village Gevrey!

PnP. ABV 13%. Last bottle from a 6x bought right after release. Expressive nose, seems ready to go. Good mixture of dark soils, flowers, stems, and oaks. Tannins partially resolved but ready to go with its fine tannins and good balance. Vibrant acidity especially for the vintage. Very Fourrier and very enjoyable. Should be able to carry on for years.
