Decanted for 4 hours - wine tasted sufficiently aged. Abundant tannins, well integrated. Not sure how much more aging time will help. Not my favorite wine.

Wonderful and youthful! Deeply concentrated with incredible Sangiovese Grosso fruit. Touch of brett, which adds great character. Love it! Could benefit from a long decant or cellaring.

One hour decant. Nose of leather, earth, dried cherry, and forest floor. Dark and dust cherry palate with a separate sour cherry note, with a damp moss flavor following. A big acidic tweak on the finish with sour cherry, loads of dusty earth. iodione, and strong medicinal tannins. Seems like it needs another two or three years in bottle but will the fruit hold up? A bit disappointing. 90+ points.

Took this to Italian last night. Waited for 2 hours for this to get better and meh...This totally echoed my note on it from release when I first tasted it and thankfully only bought 2 bottles. Medium bodied, evolved color with full garnet transformation and great polish. But the wine....The bouquet is used wood (thankfully in check), apricot pit, and acidic twang. None of the barnyard notes that makes this wine complex. The palate was firm with a huge skip beat in the middle, like a 4 whole note rest in a repetitive song. The structure is fully intact, but I didn't taste the stuffing to take this further...No danger, but very little foreseeable glory ahead. Drink now and over 3 to 5 years tops.
