Opened to breathe, this was ready to go from the beginning. Intense woodsy, campfire nose, spices, red fruit. The campfire also delivers on the palate, cedar? silky red fruit tannins and acid. So smooth, very classy.

Decanted for an hour at Melograno. Smooth red fruit, liquid velvet, consistent with my note from 3 years ago. No rough edges at all! With osso bucco.
