Mature PN nose. Spice, super bright red cherries and the slightest hint of animal and sous bois. Medium-bodied and bright. Still fresh and inviting, this is fully mature but shows no signs of decline! Delicious! 90

Drank at Vt. Quite light. Lots of tart red cherries, a bit of earth & some black pepper. Nose exudes red cherries and a bit of bubble gum. Not particularly complex or memorable.

Tight and angular out of the gate. After 3-4 hours slow ox it's hitting its stride with aromas of cherries, dusty earth, and cedar spice. Great balance on entry with a dominant flavor of red cherries. The ripe cherry flavor becomes more concentrated through the mid-palate and then finishes with some gentle tannins reminiscent of cherry stones. I think this still has a few years ahead of it.

Started to open up after about an hour. Lovely wine from an outstanding vintage. Wouldn't age much more. Decant or open early and drink now.

Nicely integrated tannins. Bright cherry fruit. Nice level of complexity on a medium length finish.
