  This is the third different vintage of this wine I have been somewhat underwhelmed with after the 2015 and even a 2010. This is a big and heavy wine and for me it’s just filled with plum notes that seem to drown out everything else. I just did. It find it memorable although some other enjoyed it more than I did.

  Still a bit young for my taste. Decanted for3 1/2 hours . Nose is developing, palate is a little warm but with great young cab flavors. Tannins are melding nicely into the fabric of the wine. Finish is a little warm. Wine has good length. Needs 2 to 4 more years to really hit its stride, I believe. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice drink right now but definitely will see better days in the future.
