  👀 Dark but lively red color.
  👃 At the nose it is very balsamic, with cherry, sweet cherry and raspberry notes followed by some sweet (but not too much) spices and undergrowth. This is the least on the earthy/meaty side and more fruity.
  👅 On the palate it's a perfect son of this vintage, with a lighter body than the 2006, with still a bit rough tannins but in pleasant way, and balanced acidity.
  🏁 The finish is long but a little less intense than the other version I had.

  Decanted for about an hour before trying. Beautiful dark colour. Intense perfume from the bouquet with lots of red fruit and that Chianti character that is difficult to describe. A medium bodied wine with lots of red fruit, great depth of flavour, still very youthful and incredible balance. The fruit, freshness, tannin and acidity were so well balanced that the wine has this beautiful smooth quality. I am not a great judge of longevity but this one can definitely go for a while.

  Still needs a bit more time to be ready, but it’s very enjoyable already after a short decant. Elegant expression of Sangiovese. Next one in 2 years.

  These wines are always so nice! Rich and structured, with bright fruit and lovely acidity. Drinking well now but should improve with more time.

  PnP that was much, much better on day 2. Consistent with my prior three tasting notes; developing. I Will hold/wait for another 5 years, maybe longer before opening another. highly recommended
