This wine has a clean and precise demeanor from the first sip. However the palate seems very muted, and it got progressively more interesting with hours in the glass. Vacuum sealed remainder and opened several days later, the weight was much more in line with what I'd expect from Chevalier-Montrachet.
So give this time to sleep preferably, or time to breathe in the glass if opening soon. It shows well enough from the first sip, but the real fireworks are not immediate.

Pop and pour. I want to follow, but this is disappearing very quickly. On the nose, the word purity comes to mind; all the aromas are so well-delineated and yet simultaneously well-blended. Lime oil, crushed pine nuts, evergreen sap, loads of crushed stone, peach. On the palate: fantastic acidity, absolutely amazing density, wet stone, sappy lime, soft reduction. The intensity is really amazing, and a fantastically long, slightly spicy finish.

A clean, polished wine with excellent texture - a light and ethereal style that leaves a lasting impression. Drinking well now, and I would expect more to come with age.

Well and truly classic power without weight, floats over the palate like a magic carpet.
Succulent fruit balanced with fine chalky mineral. Juicy sweetness and remarkable salinity.
This is the best showing yet of this wine. While I expect more layers to be revealed in time, it’s too delicious to resist now.
Fine and filigreed, but also gourmand and satisfying. Everything one could want in a white Burgundy of this age.
Bravo Jean-Michel Chartron thank you for this lovely experience.
