A personal favorite... a story and relationship that I won't delve into here and now, but it should be mentioned that we've been hanging out since the '90s. Over 10 years have crafted a perfect balance, and according to my preferences, it doesn't get better than this. The Cabernet fruit is seductive, and it's almost ridiculously beautiful how they've managed to enchant 13.8% alcohol to a sippability level like no other. Best enjoyed alone or with light snacks... insanely delicious! 77% Cabernet, 16% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec.

served as a PnP and was delicious from the get-go. Smooth tannins, still a bit of complexity and did I say delicious? I have a few more bottles and will be doing a vertical with 2005. Will report back on that.

Complex elegant Alexander Valley Cab. Rich red fruit, cedar and hint of oak. Well balanced with ripe tannins. A consistently well made cab at a decent price
