1 1/2 hour decant (mag decanter). Nose: Similar aromas as last bottle (notes on 12/12/18..graphite, tar, etc.) but much more muted. Palate: Very soft tannins in the 5+ years sideways in the cellar with black fruits, graphite but now with an elegant, medium finish. The tannins are very soft but that should not disuade you from decanting as upon pop and pour this was still closed. A slow ox might do the trick, but decanters recommended. Given the evolution my last bottle will only go 2-3 years max before consumption. Now 91+ points.

Deep red - amazing how well it has aged. Bright plummy flavours with fine tannins. Really nice finish and enjoyable one. Nice to see this settle down and showing really well. Should be good for another decade.

This is on the cusp of maturity, with some slight meaty tones but still the dry juniper laden black fruit. I think these would be best left alone for a few years to fully come into the secondary window.

Tasted over two days. Primary aromas/flavours; black fruit. Not much developed. Coarse tannins, good fruit concentration. Medium+ finish. A very good wine, but lacks a bit to be outstanding. I'm not sure the tannins will soften. Balance?

Very classic style, yet a bit restrained. Maybe in a phase?
