Agree w Bon vivant here. This is very nice and every time I open a 10+ year old white burg (esp from C-M) and it is not hopelessly pre-moxed I consider this a minor victory. Drank far better than expected with NYE's pan-roasted seabass. Almost Meursault-like on the nose with buttered popcorn, toasted nuts and more richness than verve. May speak to the vintage here. Really dug the toasted nuts in the mouth but there is a bitterness here that is a flaw I am afraid. For the vintage, age, and price ($25) this is well done.

An even better showing than the last bottle. This time popped & poured and it got very tasty within 20 minutes. Lots of apple cider notes and a nice fresh zingy crispness. A good roundness with some air exposure, and a touch of sea air salinity to the round finish. Very tasty and unctuous even though it is rather monolithic in profile.

gave this about 45 min decant in a small decanter and the wine showed nice soft & fat notes. Did not have as much structure as other vintages but overall very enjoyable and at a great place for drinking. No premox which is always a nice thing.

This bottle was somewhat oxidised but went extremely well with the mildly spicy Thai food at Won Thai. Good to Very Good.

Excellent. Smooth but no oak. Light.
