Blind 2014 / 2017 White Burgundy (Chez Winefool): Blind. Attractive if nondescript aromas of apple, peach, florals and mint. A substantial palate with very rich and chewy fruit balanced with taut acids. Fun now, but I suspect this gets better as the wine settles in. My 4/6, Group #1. I think the group liked the full throttle nature more than me.

A year out from last tasting and totally different. Light gold. Ripe, but crisp minerally pineapple flavors with a fair amount of tension. Really fine stuff and perhaps benefitting from a bit more time. Worth a visit YFS

Served blind Bright green gold Light pear apple aromas Quite rich and round on the palate Almost feels like a hint of RS, so easy to drink. Enough acidity to keep this from getting flabby. While this should last, I doubt it would get more delicious and the lowish acidity is just keeping this together for me today. ( I briefly considered California before settling on Chassagne)

The 2014 Colin Deleger Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly is the most light bodied wine of the entire Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru evening. More of a village weight with subtle pure minerality. Fresh apples and citrus fruits. Good acidiy. Easy going. (83/100)

Blind tasting dinner. Nose of gun flint, lemon. Creamy and generous, good freshness.
