Lots of citrus, lime and tart acidity is my initial impression after opening this bottle. Definitely a fair amount of oak, but in balance, and lots of minerality. It’s not a rich Burgundy by any means and honestly, it was not what I was expecting from this vineyard site. Sort of disappointing in a way, but still a good wine, if different.
This is the first bottle I have tried from this producer so I am not sure if this is the typical style for his wine.
After being open for a couple of hours, the acidity has toned down a bit, which is good, but all of the other elements I described early as still present.

Great young Chassagne so enticing I could practically inhale it. If you remember the oaky, buttery wines Colin-Deleger made in the '90s and early aughts, this is nothing like that. This has a pure minerality and lightness of touch that seems to channel a spray of sea foam. The fruit material, if you could even call it that, has a sleek linear construction and citric brightness to it but it's hard to put your finger on anything here that's otherwise reminiscent of grapes. It has the crispness and refreshment value of a summer wine you can absolutely guzzle as well as the breeding to reward a slower savor.

From magnum. Lots of limestone minerality to that. To the point of very low fruit and oak. Not a bad thing, I assume it’s a string stylistic choice. And full absolutely full of mineral richness in the palate. Does not lack for flavor at all.

Disappointing wine. Showed more oak and a buttery note, when expected more energy and detail. The attack wasn't bad but there was no second act. Will try more of this producer but not encouraging bottle (from this great vineyard).

Mavens and Aficionados Burgundy "class" - session two: The Cote de Beaune (Maple and Ash Chicago, Illinois): Wine #3 at the Mavens second Burgundy class focusing on the Cote de Beaune. Quite full expressive aroma. Racy, moderate-high acid, lots of citrus and lime, quite full-bodied, bracingly tart.
