Just as you would with a top shelf, modern-styled Brunello, pop the cork around 5pm. Empty the entire bottle into a large carafe. At 7, pour three ounces into oversized crystal. Swirl. Then, smell the dark red fruits laced with Napa's black olives, the faintest hint of dried flowers covered with dark plum velour. The attack is voluptuous and mouth filling, the immense concentration just now strutting its stuff, full of Pauillac density and Tuscan briar. But it's the finish that keeps it all in check. Wonderfully persistent and suave, still bracketed by requisite Tuscan rusticity keeping it in check.

dry, with deep dark fruit and exceptional terroir - smoke, tobacco, saddle leather. Resolved tannins, long finish. Begs for game or sausage, pairs very well with tomato based suaces.

Tangy, rich, dates and raisins. Still a little tannic. Not as impressive as the other reviews found it.

PNP thru Vinturi. This is just really classy juice. Great now, but still has plenty of life in the tank.
