  • Damn! Firing on all cylinders tonight. Paired with strip steak, ribeye and Brussels sprouts with onions. Drank like a mature Bordeaux. Have 3 more from this vintage. Can’t expect they will get any better, but no hurry.

  • Amazing wine! Perfect drinking window, but stil some structure left. Fruit and savory notes prominent. The Sangiovese is really nice in this blend.

  • 3 years since my last bottle. Pnp'd last night and enjoyed with my homemade pasta sauce. 93-94?..cork back into the bottle and enjoyed tonight (2nd night) before and after dinner with the HMCs. This is a fantastic and complex wine for the price. Great QPR, here. The nose is 100% Bdx......the palate is a seamless concoction of Sangiovese, Cab and Merlot. A '13 Tuscan that drinks like an '09 Bdx? Absolutely fantastic as far as layers of complexity from start to finish on the second night. A very enjoyable ride.......95 the second night.

  • This puts the Super back in Tuscan. Best QPR ever for Italian Cab. Just when you think international style Cabernet Sauvignon is getting boring, this one that is unmistakably Toscana comes along. I’m calling this at peak as it was slightly better the first of two days.
