  Another beautifully mature yet fresh bottle of Chassagne, this 2001 Ramonet is a deep gold green colour and an entrancing nose of lime, white peach and nectarine, honey and white flowers. The palate is intense and beautifully balanced with a soft yet insistent drive that leaves a long persistent aftertaste and sense of balance. A lovely bottle of properly mature white burgundy showing plenty of character.

  A beautifully mature yet fresh bottle of Chassagne, this 2001 Ramonet is a pale gold green colour and an entrancing nose of lime, white peach and nectarine, honey and white flowers. The palate is intense and beautifully balanced with a soft yet insistent drive that leaves a long persistent aftertaste and sense of balance. A classic wine that summarises why we age these wines.

  Dark yellow color of straw. Nose is a bit sharp with rhubarb and artichokes and a bit unbalanced. The palate is on the other hand gorgeous. Powerful albeight a bit green taste. I like this stuff!
