  • Brought by AW to La Cabotte. No formal note. Ripe dark fruits, touch of mocha, some earth too. Medium/full, quite generous and motuh-filling, ripe dark fruit, fresh acids, slightly firm on the finish. Decent though.

  • Decanted 45 minutes before serving. Medium-light ruby color with garnet flecks. A bit reserved on the nose, some strawberry candy, cigar, and more cherry with air. Medium-light body with medium-to-medium-light tannins and medium acid. Hint of sour cherry on the front, some raspberries, and a definitive cough syrup-like finish. Expect much better at this price.

  • Bright ruby in the glass, maybe just a shade of orange at the rim. On the nose… Just rained in the woodland early autumn … lichen, leaves above, leaves below… And on the tongue the woodlands follow and you also get sweet raspberry conserve… It’s fresh and it’s polished with a silky texture. The last of six and an example where I’ve gone through the case too early, this probably should have been bottle three or four.

  • This bottle didn't really hit it for me. Quite a bit of acidity to start, then after a couple hours this eased and it became a bit more full bodied. Glacee cherries and oak, all primary flavours. Could it be too young? I've got one bottle left, will take a punt and leave it a couple more years or so.

  • Élégant pour un NSG - l'élevage est en grande partie intégré, les tannins sont souples. C'est bon mais peu complexe.
