Nose is slightly floral with beautiful and bright fruit. Incredibly balanced in the mouth. Largely resolved tannins. It does not seem like a Nuits St Georges wine, and was guessed to be Musigny by an experienced blind taster. Much better than the critics suggest.

Light garnet colour. Nose offers up ripe strawberry, spice, smoke, game and undergrowth. Great balance of mature fruit, tannin and acid. Longish finish. VG.

Servicable but I kept thinking about the Volnay. Red and black cherry, some dirt, ok but a little plodding. B-

Similar notes to last bottle, lovely maturing burg from a vg vintage. Everything in harmony. Yum!
