  The colour shows its age with a good brown tint to it. The nose points automatically to Burgundy, with nice fruit but also with quite a bit of secondary notes, earthy, mushroomy. On the palate it is well round, with light tannin on the finish (a few harsh notes here) and on the mild bodied type. It feels like it has seen better days. The vibrancy is not there anymore and we would suggest one drinks this earlier than later. 88-89
