Pale and browning-attractive nose. Palate is Very distinctive old school style of whole bunch. Dried out. Appealing in a sense with the right food match. Hard work Otherwise. Certainly not GC standard. A village wine from a good producer is far more enjoyable for every day drinking

A very fine ’09. Subtle earthiness mixing it up with delicious berry fruits. There’s some freshly grated ginger and fresh, minerally acidity. It possesses lovely balance and poise.

Appearance: pale ruby to garnet, with legs and petillance.
On nose : med+ intensity, subtle of red fruit raspberry, green pepper, significant spiciness, a bit rusty, eucalyptus with oakiness, horse saddle, earthiness. It comes up to the side of territory aroma.
On palate : Full intensity flavour, high acidity, med+ alcohol, full body, not much red fruit but strong eucalyptus with spicinesson mid palate. Tannin is ripe and fine. Mineral and savoury with long finishing.
One can feel that the wine is strong and wide with depth on palate. The wine is developing on every sip of the juice. Drink now or hold it for 5 more yrs.

Christian Clerget v Georges Lignier shootout (WS): Attractive red and black fruits with baking spices on the nose. A prominent acid spine, earthy and mineral with fine grippy tannins.
