Great nose. Classic burst of sweetness then mouth filling flavour and lingering mix with balanced acidity. Drinking well.

Quite a deep yellow colour, amber; very rich on the palate, with honey, apricot, orange, vanilla and barley sugar: crème brûlée in a glass! This is very fine now, mature, perhaps a little lacking in acidity, but with plenty of life still. It reminds me of the 2003.

Quite a deep yellow/gold colour, much darker than the 2011 which is quite pale; fairly rich and intense, with honey, apricot and orange hints, good but not exceptional acidity and considerable length. This is very attractive now, but there is enough acidity to keep it fresh for a while yet.
