  Half bottle, purchased way back in the day for $5.99.
  Dark molasses color.
  Some maderization, hints of walnut with citrus.
  Sweet, forward acid, maderia-like, near gone but gracefully.

  Bright and youthful color. Apricot and butter. Good palate feel and a bite at the finish. Great for Valentines dinner with our friends at CCF.

  Can’t beat a wine like this, Amber color at its best, a noose complex, fruity, full in mouth still has punch... time to drink it but very impressive... cork still in perfect condition!! A wine of excellence

  When I saw this, I thought, oh boy, 1982 Bordeaux. Found out later that '82 wasn't so great for Sauternes. Can easily agree with that after drinking this. Glad it was cheap.
