  • A beautiful wine with an elegant and fruity nose. We get strawberries, raspberries and sour cherries. We also get herbs, some earthiness and some anis . We have medium acidity and tannins - the wine has a nice balance but acidity is more pronounced - a couple of years more then we believe that the balance will be even better. The wine shows a nice deepness and has a very long and pleasant aftertaste. We are happy to give solid 94 - this wine drinks well but is clearly still in the beginning of its drinking window.

  • Lonny's btl at Chez Jimmy! A great feast of Lamb & Prime rib in the hands of one of our favorite local Greeks! Paired alongside my 06 Jadot Latricières-Chambertin. Tonight this displayed more purity of fruit & freshness than my '06 Jadot. An allround more balanced & intriguing Latricières from the awesome 2010 vintage! Thnaks Lonny! Just entering its early prime drinking. Love to try this again in 5-10.

  • Seems to be regressing….a bit disjointed when first poured, with some air it got better but not fully. When I first bought these I sensed a lot of potential and was excited to watch them develop, I’m now a little concerned. I experienced the same confusing awkwardness drinking the 09 recently

  • Bit of a let down relative to my prior bottle five years ago. Still pretty and refined, but the structure was more obvious and never really relaxed over the course of the evening. I have no doubt this will be wonderful when it comes out to play again, but not tonight.

  • Just brilliant - real Grand Cru quality here and definitely stood out from the crowd in a blind tasting. Its the depth and length of flavour that really sets it apart. Very Chambertin flavours - dark cherries and berries, just a hint of some red fruit, earth, mushroom, almost a hint of aniseed. Just at the beginning of a very long life, but so good already.
