  • Still young with many years to go. But after 1 hr decant and another hr in bottle, it drank very well. Great nose, soft tannins, nice cherries and earth on the palate. Fantastic finish with the minerality I love and a hint of saline. Glad I have another to see the evolution.

  • Complex aromatics of smoked meats, ripe cherry and floral spice. Good depth and flavour intensity. Layered and really builds through the palate, finishing with mineral cut. Needs a bit more bottle age to really blossom.

  • 94 in ?10-15 years?. Primary today with sour/ripe red cherry and tart/ripe red raspberry, and a ting of dark red florals. Very pure fruited. Med+ acdidity. Fine, nearly imperceptible tannin. Medium to long finish. Needs time for the acids to soften and and soft/polished textures to become silky. Approachable today, but think these shouldn't be touched for another 10 years+ (this is a bit of a vintage specific comment, ie for strong 2014 1er/Grand Cru).

  • The color is clear, and the aromas of dark, red berries and oak burst from the glass already. There is excellent concentration to the refined flavors of red and dark berries, the mouthfeel is silky and sappy, and the wine finishes gorgeously in a chalky and moderetaley persistent finish. This Latricieres of restrained power is silky and very refined, and its balance makes it spot on for early drinking.

  • Bottle breathe for 2 hours. The nose offers aroma of raspberry, mineral and wood, with the pure and clean palate with crushed red fruit and mineral. Quite fine and tannin being integrated. The finishing is on medium tone. Good potential
