This is in a good place. In my experience this tends to be the 'lightest' of the Sottimano cuvées. Ready to go, but will hold for years. Nice grip, red fruits, menthol.

This is showing really nicely. Soft tannins but still well-structured, very elegant and easy-drinking but nevertheless still "serious." Will last a long time but there is no harm in opening one now.

Decanted. Light, onion skin color. Aromas of tar, red fruit, and forest floor. Light on the palette. After an hour develops a dried floral note. Chalky tannins dominate the finish but this also develops depth and is well balanced. This is an elegant, lighter cru that needs a few more years to soften the tannins, though with my dinner of pan cooked marinated chicken breast, tomato coulis, and sauteed kale and chirizo sausage the tannins melted.
