Still a very good colour. In the beginning a sweet and fruity vanilla jumps out the glass. After 90 minutes the scent becomes more complex and typical Medoc. On the palate medium to light bodied with dissolved Tannins and a pronounced acid. Hollow in the middle but a good length thanks to the acid. A bit linear but a good food wine. Lacks a bit charm, middle palate and complexity to merit a higher rating but a good showing after more than 20 years. Won´t improve but there´s no hurry to drink.

A bit nervous opening this, as it was the first bottle out of the case. Showed very little initially in the glass, but only needed a little time and air. Classic Medoc wine with great balance, bright fruit, earthy, spicy tones, slight herbaceous notes (good). I recommend either opening a couple og hours early or potentially decanting it. Should improve for another 5 years or so. Great value!

A nice ripe colour, bouquet with ripe tones, a bit lean in the midtaste. a bit angular in the finish, still nice; a real bordeaux at age.

Very mature bouquet with autumn smells. On the palate very mature as well. Mushrooms. Still some bell pepper and good acidity. Drink up!
