  no leakage or seepage, good fill into the neck. Cork was intact but saturated.
  color ruby red with birefringence. subtle fruit on the nose with notes of lavender. herbaceous. on the mouth, lavender and licorice with mild fruit. tannins had fallen off. medium finish. a very comforting wine. After 45 min. it lost almost everything.

  The cork was saturated and soft but i think it was the age of this 27 year old that was the reason the fruit was diminished to minimal. Earthy leather and flabby tannins prevailed with a slight bit of black cherry lingering on the flat tannic finish. The color was still holding albeit showing age. Tasted from magnum.
