Golden yellow. From the color, we were quietly praying that this wasn't premox'ed; And indeed it wasn't - sweet caramel on nose, with a bit of that "white-rabbit" candy (nougat) milky flavours. Nutty on the palate, with pretty good acidity/freshness to boot. A good first wine to kickstart the dinner!

One of the best white wines I had, phenomenal, nuts, hours later still in the palate, great balancebetween alcohol, acidity and secondary and tertiary aromas the wood was not dominant

Yes it is big and wonderful but for me this is a bit oaky to take me to places more thrilling. I had it againg Kongsgaard The Judge and I think the american wine was bigger this time.
