Second time tasting this, this time in 750ml. Advanced for its age. Nose has some yellow fruit and gasoline. Palate is all about ripe yellow fruit in a punchy and concentrated style. But its more like a batard to me tonight. Fat and rich, one dimensional and super advanced. JP 05 is a disaster to me. The reds are super oaky, extracted and new world. The white is advanced. I would be worried about the premox risk in his 05 white.

Drank with Pacalet. Good minerality but the ripe fruit on the palate had overwhelmed the layers and other components. It might improve 1-2 point in 2-3 years

From 375ml, light golden in color. This seems quite advanced, nose with corn on the cob and honey. Rich and ripe palate that's a bit monolithic, prem ox coming?

After the first 2 bottles of 6 being spoiled I was nervous about opening this 3 rd bottle but it was incredible. Possibly the nicest white wine I have had. Much lighter than I was anticipating but surprisingly crisp.

Zachys La Paulee "Warm-up" Dinner (Lafayette - New York NY): I like that this is very concentrated, which helps balance the intense almost tropical ripeness, but this is also fully mature and has a slight petrol note.
