Darker garnet>ruby core, with aromas of soil, vanilla, red currant, some blonde tobacco, etc. Nearly full-bodied, with an avg finish and avg(-)/avg complexity. Audozed for 3 hours prior to service, this showed some chew and had an unmistakably modern bent and a banality of fruit that said nothing about its Cru. If served blind, and revealed as Chile, or the right bank, I'd have no problem believing either; too anonymous for me. For those seeking the style, it can be recommended; drink now for maximum freshness, though it can hold a few more years, too. 14,5% abv.
Medium slightly rusty red; quite fruity given age, some licorice; soft gentle approach, some pepper, dry but agreeable tannins, a bit dry ending, long aftertaste

Mid-ruby with garnet rim. Ripe, jammy aromas of mixed berries, medicinal undercurrents and accents of iodine. Silky and well balanced overall yet far from having an enthusing complexity and depth.

this wine has 93/94 potential with a decade plus of add'l age, had with Chris in Boston at the Mandarin, big wine but pretty traditional style, good acid, huge tannins, big fruit (i think red but its so burly that it feels darker at this point), savory (salty? or dill pickle?)… plenty of structure for aging and on day two the tannins were heavy / creamy with almost powdery texture… amazing… this could be killer in time

Coffee, oak and a bit of tannins but pretty closed
This wine is propably in a semitunnel phase right now, I think we have to wait for 5 years before this wine starts to really sing.
I can´t rate it now
