[Blind] Consistent to the 01/26/2022 note, same source. Remarkably integrated and resolved. Guesses were late '90s. Black teas and soft black fruit. Gorgeous Vosne perfume, highly expressive. Would never guess 2010, the wood is basically all gone.

Drank last nite w/HA & friend at Manhatta. Unsure if I'd ever had this wine b4. Reviewed several of the CT notes &, unfortunately, tho I enjoyed this wine, I can't ascribe the same superlatives as many others did. Decanted for appx an hour at the table. Nose is prototypical red burg: earthy, wood spice, some forest floor and perhaps even some dirty socks. Light to medium body, with some red fruit notes, earth, some spice, & fully resolved tannins. The wine didn't strike me as overly complex, and seemed a bit off-balance--perhaps bc the fruit is fading, and there's more spice and earth on the palate as a result. Pleasantly long finish. Liked, didn't love this wine.

Collector's kindly shared magnum. Great to have CT as I would never have remembered that I had this Clos Vougeot already 7 years ago. Very pretty and fragrant nose with wood spices and plenty of earth, the palate cannot measure up entirely, initially with plenty of residual CO2 and to my surprise (given this is a 2010 in magnum format) fully resolved tannins, light to medium body. Overall nice on the palate but not aromatically profound or complex. Medium length. Nose 94, palate 92

From MAG. Beautiful nose, all you want from a Burg. Red fruit, sweet spices, cured meat, autumn m leaves. The palate was a little lighter than I remembered it. Excellent.
