PnP; open several hours. Light red with brown/orange tinge. Vosne spice, red berries, light earth tones on nose. Mature, medium to light fruit weight with really nice balance of acidity and fading tannins. Bright, persistent finish. Paired well with pan seared tuna and risotto. Probably at peak for a few more years.

SLDS December 21: Autumn leaves, meat, roses and smoke. Elegant and balanced on the palate, in a really lovely spot for drinking now with the right mix of savoury and sweet. Holding its shape through the tannins but feels like its ready to go.

Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys La Paulée Auction; 3/10/2022-3/11/2022 (Le Bernardin Prive - New York NY): Small pour, brief note. Fully mature mostly red fruit with subtle spice. More earth is emerging as this ages. Best to enjoy over the next few years.
