Rodger Arai. A top wine at its peak. Explosively expressive from the get go. Melon, citrus aromatics. Completely resolved at the plateau. Mineral palate with concentration and touch of bitter to finish. (1476/1752)

Slightly oxidized. Lemon, grapefruit, honey, nutty, gun powder, petroleum. Good palate, big, oaky, fruity, smoky with a hint of bitter. Balance is a bit off compared to expectation.
