Been trying this as a 'new grape' for me. Definitely reminds you that it is a 'german' grape in the nose, but is enough different from Riesling and Gewurtz. Not as 'flowery' as the Gewurtz and a very different flavor than either. Sort of a germanic equivalent of a Sauv Blanc to me. Dry, and palate cleansing. I will have to try some more at different price points to attempt to get a better flavor profile. Did enjoy it.

(Mich's Bday Brunner) Soft green cut grass, sweet fruit and chlorine amidst pleasant white flowers. Racy acidity, sweetly balanced, yet more lingering greens and white flowers, perfumed lolly, and ending with more green spices and shale/limestone minerality. Pleasant and balanced, if somewhat exotic.

Light soft and subtle with white pepper, pear, and apple on the nose and an interesting salty, grainy mouthfeel from the minerality; very good.
