A pretty wine at first with red fruit, earth, old oak and cedar wood, and a touch of leathery funk - and then that leathery funk gets more intense and dirty to the point that it dominates the other flavours.

Indianapolis V; 10/4/2019-10/5/2019 (Indianapolis, IN): I loved where this was right when I opened it; there was this awesome intense black fruit and just the right amount of sweaty animal funk. But as this got more air, it got stinkier and stinkier, showing quite a bit of brett. I like the overall density and amount of material here, but the stink gets a little bit intense for me.
