20 Vintages of Château Léoville Las Cases: This also had some bullion when opened, but good fruit emerged after a while. Tannins present, fresh, noticeable acidity.

Léoville Las Cases Grand Tasting (At Kim Aa's place, Ulvøya, Norway): Clear, ruby/garnet color. Tobacco on the nose, bonfire, and after some time caramel. Great nose. On the palate the wine seems very fresh, high acid which blurs the fruit and makes it somewhat unbalanced. Good, but not great

Excellent example of aged Bordeaux. Full of cassis and dark fruit. Amazing it has lasted this long, but I would drink it if I has any more.

Inky purple color. Full bodied. Tobacco, liquorice, leather and an earthy gravelly undertone. It was shows very well
