BBC Long weekend 2021; 6/11/2021-6/13/2021: Typically refined style but with lovely intensity. Youthful, delicious primary flavours, an undercurrent of darker spice still overwhelmed by youth at this point.

Langtons Classification Tasting Sydney 2018. What a treat in tasting a bit dominated by latest releases and it distinguished itself for displaying some appropriate ageing. Plenty of primary fruitedness but with a sense of age, integration, and complexity. Dark and red plums, blackberry, a little sweet aromatic spices and some leathery beef. So well balanced.

Syrah vs. Shiraz - Shoot out of the best (Singapore): Dark purple. Nose of dark berries, blue berries, bonbon, some red fruit. Very rich and jammy nose, young. Full bodied, sweet and fruity palate, good acidity though which made this rich wine still quite drinkable. Easily guessed a South Australia Shiraz. For many at this tasting, this wine was too sweet as well but I still liked it. I also had older Hill of Grace and the fruitiness/sweetness has then moved into the background.
