Expected way more. A bit out of balance imo. The minerality and acidity is there but it's a bit bland. Not bad but QPR is not quite there. Lacking some fruit and harmony.

Nice Sancerre. Very mineral but wish it had a little more fruit. For the price point not in the league of the similairly priced Lucien Crochet Le Chene Marchand that has much more beautiful fruit for the same price.

At dinner at Cazaudehore in St. Germaine-en-Laye, a very nice sancerre, a nice nose of dried white flowers, the palate was straw, melon and a touch of citrus. A nice finish. A very nice compliment to the pan roasted cod that was served with.

Still very tight and not showing much on the nose or palate. Very mineral driven, with mouth watering acidity. I'd hold off drinking for at least another year or two. Rating reflects the wine today, might be much better in a few years.

The first of 3 wines shared with friends at dinner. Crisp, bright with firm acidity.
