Double blind tasting Pale gold, unfiltered Aromatics medium +. Creamy, ripe pear and golden flowers. There is grass and gunpowder, but I didn't notice them until wine was revealed and my tasting partner revealed my folly. Palate has medium body. Acid medium +, rather spiked. Mild phenolics. Alcohol medium. Primarily citrus based. Later some peach and flint. Finish has medium length. Balanced Dry glass notes of sweet grass Beautiful Sancerre Drink now, but has further aging potential.

Pale gold - day bright Medium plus aromas of stone fruit/ yellow florals with gunpowder and sweetgrass - touch of coconut early on which wasn't present later in tasting Medium bodied with palate of ripe apple and citrus with smoke and dry minerality at the finish Medium plus jagged acidity with medium ETOH and nice finish I really could smell/taste the flint/ silex nature here which was very cool Really complex and delicious Sancerre and one of the top five Ive ever had Hard to pick blind IMO as the pyrazine quality here is quite complex and sweet in nature Drink now but could hold for another 2-3 yrs easily

Citrus, flint, and chalk. Fresh, but not tart, so perfect acidity. Long finish. Paired nicely with Jamie Oliver’s Fantastic Fish Pie (salmon, shrimp, and hake from Metro Seafood). Somehow didn’t grab me as much as I recall the 2012 grabbed me (also drunk four years in....by coincidence.) I wouldn’t hold on to this, and will find reasons to drink my last two bottles soon.

3 bottles out of 5 have rotten cocks. Seriously, folks? Change the supplier.
