Reminiscent of cellared Riesling, with petrol, dairy, lemon, lime, and tangerine. A slightly grassy note on the finish reveals the Sauvignon Blanc, however. Chalky, with refreshing acidity. Understated. Fine length. Better 2025 - 2028.

It seems that all the prior notes here ring the same chimes, which is a nice indicator as to the consistency of the wine. Green apple, grapefruit, white peach, a little flint, and I fully agree with the sentiments about it being a little heavy or overweight in its texture and body. Not exactly dancing on my tongue like a good Boulay or Cotat, but I’m pretty sure I’d still call Sancerre if it were blinded to me. I think it has some longer term upside. 4+11+17+9= 91

We just loved this. Classic Sancerre. Good acidity, hint of grapefruit, faint sense of wet stone/slate. Good body, long finish. Just everything we want in a bottle of Sauv Blanc.

23 months after the prior: crisp & mineral. Rather complex, but at the same time quite austere. Enjoyable over three nights.

Pure, golden colour. Fine nose. Dry, med acid and body, but quite intense. Nicely balanced, but I would give this longer cellaring.
Keep.
My notes: Chewing gum, grass, mint, herbs, white stone fruits, yellow apples, gooseberries, salt and chalk.
