Asperg Wine Syndrome Tasting Group: Some German Whites: My next try with Christoffel. Clear, medium golden color. Clean, medium- intense, developing nose. Some vanilla crescent, caramel, herbs, yellow stone fruit and citrus. Ok, but not very overwhelming. Medium-dry. Medium, well integrated acidity. 7% abv. On the palate quite fresh and balanced, elegant, more late harvest style than Auslese. Lots of citrus fruit. On the mid palate and finish quite flat and simple. Over the top. Drink up. 88-89. Unfortunately my next mediocre KAJO bottle...
