Perfect economical northern Médoc wine. Typical nose of blackcurrant oak and spice, fruit balanced with firm but ripe tannins and longish palate. Drinking very well now.

Needs some air for the tannienes to become more smooth, after about 3h very well balance. Even more so the next day but then it lost quite some of the fruit / berry notes

Simple. Straightforward. A bit of St Estephe earth, a bit of cassis on the nose. Palate is ok; a bit angular. An unsurprising, monolithic cru bourgeois.

This Cru Bourgeois from the Saint-Esthèpe area of Bordeaux is savoury, with the cassis and dark fruit aromas competing with leafy notes of fresh mint, tobacco, and cracked pepper. The tannins are a little sharp, but the finish finish is long with juicy black fruits.
