Nice showing with good concentration and depth. Quite some weight. Herbal nose with ripe cherries, tobacco and dung pile. On the palate ripe cherries, concentrated black currant, tobacco and some graphite. Little edgy and not completely smoothed out nor very complex. Nevertheless perfectly drinkable and quite enjoyable

Great wine. Really exciting and pure left bank. Classic good. Whistle, tobacco and leather in the nose. This continues on the palate and is enhanced by caramel and cassis. Some wood and perfect tannins, which just tickle the palate. For little money, much, much joy!

Perfectly aged Saint Estèphe. At peak! The nose is wonderful. Fruit, pencil shaving, roasty aromas, after some time also liquorice. Good palate. Good balance of dark fruit and minerality. Medium finish.

A remarkable showing for such a modest estate; alluring nose and palate of deep dark fruit and chocolate. Plenty of tannins to resolve yet.
