Second Sunday Group: Margaux (M's): This was flat out gorgeous. Popped & poured with a light ruby robe and a hint of orange at the meniscus. Very pretty bouquet of cherry confiture, clay, mineral, baked white currants and potpourri. Cherry, roasted game, mineral, orange zest and anise on the palate with hints of iron on the finish. Light and balanced. Has plenty of fruit with a nice acid backbone. Long finish. I held this in my glass for over an hour and this did not fade at all over that time. 95+ pts.

World Wine Symposium 2013 - Kevin and Kelly's excellent adventure; 11/6/2013-11/14/2013 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Shy red fruit driven nose, a hint of raspberry preserves, sous bois, baking spices and earth. A bit tired and lacking mid palate, shy fruit impression, soft and no noticeable tannins. Based on this bottle, need to be drunk up.
