Nose was oaky. Palate showed some ripeness of the vintage. Very rich. Needs time for the oak to integrate.

Vosne Blind Tasting: 7 Beaux Monts (Beaumonts) 1er crus (The Wolf, Oakland): Spicy, funky, but then fresh cherry palate with some candy-corned asian spice and some green notes. Refined, and beautiful. Long and persistent without being overly insistent.
