Big hit of wood on opening. Dissipates with time. Sweet red fruits. But in a fresh way, not candied or boiled. Cherry. Strawberry. Cranberry. Touch of vosne spice. Silky tannins. Still an element of brambles on the finish. Light on its feet and ethereal. Cooling on the finish. Enjoyable now, but I think this will integrate even more with a few more years in bottle.

I had great expectations opening this wine and this is indeed a good bottle. Despite I was a bit disappointed compared with 2012s from Georges Noellat. It is relatively vibrant, gaining some sweetness and will develop over the coming years. The fruit of red berries is there. I would cellar it for more years.

First impression was a big whiff of wood. Wine was medium bodied, red fruit and a little minerality. Avg. finish. Next night the wood was still there the wine had evolved some but not for the better. The fruit was not typical of the vintage. Not well balanced. Ok experience. If someone popped a bottle I would drink a glass but not seek this out. Way overpriced and hyped. Not typical of other 2012's.
