Gorgeous nose of a wine in a perfect place, a mix of sous bois and sweet black-red fruits. Prominent Vosne spice, soy, tea leaves, mushrooms. Sweet black cherry on the palate, resolved tannins, silky. Really good, drink now.

Last bottle of many I've been priveleged to drink. This wine is still singing, and absolutely glorious, elegant, and balanced Vosne Romanee. Served blind to some serious Burgundy collectors, and the guess was Meo Camuzet Brulees. In any case, this is a beautiful wine, well stored bottles are singing as they have been for some years now. Beautiful wine that will be missed...

2nd time having this wine. and for me, it is not good. visually cloudy (i had it standing up for days before pulling the cork), and the flavors are all muddled. there is no nuance or delineation. complete waste buying these wines a few years ago when the producer released them (i hesitate to say domain as this is a negociant bottling). i had a 78 beaune teurons from domain cauvard (never heard of them) that really represents what an aged burg from a good vintage can be.

Color is faded brick and cloudy. Nose is not clean, affected by TCA. With 30 mins of aeration, fairly sweet and smooth on the attack. Tannins are fully resolved, not overtly complex with slight heat at backend. TCA lingers on and never goes away. Not a good bottle, what a shame. My source is probably the same as previous 3 tasting notes, all ex-Chateau.

Tasted blind. Argh! Corked, lovey fruit and structure underneath. Would have been impressive.
